Atomic Systems was founded by Ofri Raichelson after seeing the same problem over and over: brilliant R&D companies doing groundbreaking science, held back by infrastructure that couldn't keep pace.

Ofri spent years building scalable data systems—from real-time pipelines in elite military intelligence to leading a company-wide data transformation at a battery tech startup. That experience revealed something critical: physical R&D companies face unique data challenges that generic IT consulting can't solve.

Materials science workflows don't map to pharma templates. Battery testing equipment doesn't integrate with off-the-shelf LIMS. Food tech formulations have different data requirements than agritech experiments. And messy historical data—years of Excel spreadsheets and lab notebooks—gets rejected by every standard system.
